Challenging Glass is an international bi-annual conference that aims at gathering world class designers, engineers, researchers and industry partners to discuss on the architectural and structural use of glass. The conference is organised by Christian Louter (TU Delft), Freek Bos (TU Munich) and Jan Belis (UGent) and has been held at TU Delft, EPFL and Ghent University.
The upcoming edition, Challenging Glass 9, will be hosted by Christian Louter, James O’Callaghan, Mauro Overend & Fred Veer and will be held on Wednesday 19 & Thursday 20 June 2024 at the Aula Congrescentrum at TU Delft.
Call for abstracts:
In case you are interested in presenting your work at Challenging Glass 9, you are kindly invited to submit an abstract of your work. Your abstract will then be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. If the result is positive, you will be invited to submit a full paper and to prepare an oral or poster presentation for the conference.
Selected abstracts will be invited to publish a full paper in the Glass Structures & Engineering journal, special issue Challenging Glass. Final acceptance of these papers is subject to the review and revision process as required by the journal.
